esp .....la pintura esencialmente piensa maneras de representar el espacio. La pintura dibuja una melodía hecha con golpes de ingenio que deben hilvanarse según cierta lógica si queremos que sea algo más que pinceladas sueltas, si queremos que sea un pensamiento. Los instantes ejecutivos carecerán de significados si no son nudos del complejo tejido del que forman parte. Los hechos son hitos en el tiempo sucesivo, pero sólo si estos hechos dibujan algo así como una melodía, una lógica de las intensidades, condeccionarán una trama física, una ligadura superficial; una pintura....

eng ....paiting essentially thinks of ways of representing space. Painting traces out a melody made of strokes of genius that must be strung together with some kind of logic if we want it to be more than just a scattering of brush strokes, if we want it to be a thought. The executive instants will lack meaning if they are not knots in the complex fabric of which they are a part. Events are milestones in successive time, but only if those events trace out something like a melody, a logic of intensities, they will fashion a physical pattern, a surface binding-together; a painting.....
